Personal attention

I used to think personal trainers were for movie stars. I used to think you'd have to be a movie star to be able to afford a personal trainer. I also used to think that gym classes were more than good enough for normal people like myself. One amongst many in an overcrowded room, right at the back where no one would notice me or the fact that I hadn't gotten up from my last sit-up.

But then I started Bootcamp sessions at lunchtime, and while it isn't exactly personal training, the fact that we are a fairly small group (usually 3 to 5) is a huge help.
Every session, I get more and more used to the individual focus the trainers at juggernautPT give to their trainees. I'm taught the right position for every exercise, I'm given nutritional tips, and Gary even offered to look at my nutritional diary to check if I'm eating properly.

It's a nice feeling to be looked after. Gary and his team always have encouraging words, which gives you that little extra boost when you feel you just can't keep going. Not to mention they mentally record your progress and you get to hear about how much faster you run and how much stronger you are becoming. And who would turn down a compliment?

So, it turns out, I'm really enjoying all the personal attention. So much so that after months of debating over it, I decided I deserve the movie star treatment after all and signed up for sessions with a trainer all to myself!
