The Results Gary gets Still Amazes me even after SIX years!
I have been a member of the Juggernaut family for over 6 years, most of that time doing bootcamp sessions which have been hardwork but well worth it. Due to family commitments I am unable to attend bootcamp sessions any longer and now do one on one PT sessions. The results Gary is able to get from me amaze even myself, he has a knack of pushing you further each time and seriously if you don't do it.....you feel guilty!!!! Go figure how he can have that kind of impact on someone.
"Seriously if you are thinking about getting in shape, fit and feeling good about yourself, go to someone who knows how to do it the right way, with both nutrition and exercise. I have struggled with lower back pain for years and Gary and his team have still been able to get me in to shape. But be warned, Juggernaut is addictive once you start"
"Thanks for helping me lose those 5 kilos in 2 weeks, I may be able to wear that 2 piece over summer after all!!!!"

Love your Energy and Encouragement
Love your energy and encouragement Gaz! You make me work harder than I've ever worked out in my life. I could never push my myself to work that hard on my own. I've nearly cried twice mid-workout but that's the pain of achievement, right?!
Melinda
Excellent Knowledge
Excellent knowledge of how to achieve the specific goals for the client. Very good motivation during the session and always trying to get the best out people while closely monitoring them to advise on doing something better.

Got Started then Stayed
I started PT to get my own motivation for exercise. As soon as I started though I really enjoyed the challenge, as hard as it was it was so rewarding. I've now done it for 3 monthsand have changed alot of my lifestyle for the better.
Gary is an amazing Trainer
Gary is an amazing trainer he knows my goals and trains me hard I don't enjoy exercise but know it's needed for healthy mind body. I'd refer friends and family to Gary Wagner as he makes the gym as exciting as it can be and his reliable and gives clients 100%

Gary is Wonderful
Gary is a wonderful instructor - encourages you, motivates you and pushes you just enough that you go beyond what you think you could do/achieve - giving you a real sense of satisfaction.

Hurts in a Good Way
Thanks gaz! Your ace and make my muscles hurt in a good way.
I have to say what I have found most appealing about juggernautPT is the first time I spoke to you (although it did take you a while to get back to me) you spoke to me like I'd known you for years and it instantly made me feel part if a group or team
Worth the Price
Hi Gary Impossible for me to say enjoyment because you kill me!!! and how can anyone say they enjoy that. I think the sessions are a little more pricey then a lot of other places but I appreciate why, you definitely get what you pay for. You are able to get me to do more than I would do by myself and even if I do complain you never let me take the easy way out, you will provide an alternative which at the time I moan about but am grateful in the long run. Trainer with Integrity that knows how to Push!
“Gary has trained me as a boot camp instructor and has also been a personal trainer. I cannot recommend Gary highly enough as a fitness coach who's primary interest lies helping his clients achieve their goals. Over the years, I went from joining gyms, losing interest, then to personal trainers who did not listen to the fact that I had a back injury...and then had the good luck of meeting Gary.
He pushed to me to my personal limits, always encouraging to a point where my motivation to stick to the program surprised me more than anyone else. Total honesty, total integrity and now a great friend. If you are looking for a trainer who will get you where it is you want to go, I will be the first to recommend Gary.” September 23, 2011

So what did I do differently…..I asked for the juggernaut Personal Training teams' help in preparing for the run, but without making the run our sole focus. In truth I did less road running in preparation than I have done in either of my prior two preparations. I basically took it to the streets once a week and this was complimented by Gary and Cara working on strength and flexibility in our sessions and Gary setting me a tread mill session each week. I was fortunate that Serena Williams* got involved in some of these sessions as well.
On race day instead of standing around worrying about how I would get me around the 21 km I did a warm up and stretch session with the juggernautPT zealots at Alexandra Gardens near the Melbourne CBD. I was pretty pumped on race day and a little concerned about going out too hard and blowing up. Gary who is normally pumping me up was great settling me down and providing some simple advise about monitoring how I was progressing as the run progressed.
I thought things were different as I started and instead of creaking away at the start and feeling stiff across the first couple of km I was moving comparatively freely and feeling “good”. At 12 km I was getting a better response than I imagined as I tried to follow Gary’s advice and assess how my body was holding up. I thought I was good to push a little harder. At 15 km I thought I was on target to beat my goal by a fair bit but thought I must be miscalculating. At 16 km my calculations were confirmed. In prior years at this point I was hurting and it was an effort to keep going, this year I felt strong and was moving up through the field. To be honest it was bit of an outer body experience over the last 5 km as I brought it home stronger than I had imagined I could.
In the end I did this half marathon ten minutes faster than my prior two attempts and my second half was four minutes faster than my first. Whilst my time, at 1 hour 58 minutes, is far from world beating I was rapted.
The most significant aspect of this run with juggernautPTs' support is that a week later I have my 47 year old legs back on the road. Last year I was still trying to walk properly at this stage.
Get on board and they'll be happy to introduce you to Serena* as well.

Gained Muscle that has always eluded him
I’ve always had a thin build, since I can remember. I’ve had previous PT’s (Personal Trainer's) for months on end, but yielding little improvement and ultimately resulting in my lack of motivation to continue, so I was wary of going to just another Melbourne Personal Trainer.
I found Gary & juggernaut Personal Trainers after searching for a Melbourne boot camp program, and after consulting with their Trainer's realised that juggernaut 1-on-1 Personal Training was more suitable for my initial goals ..... I didn’t turn back. In a few months time I’ve toned and built more muscle than I’ve ever had. I always have a lot of fun, and the sessions are different each time and now I have joined their Alexandra Gardens bootcamp program as well and am loving it! – I highly recommend JuggernautPT!!

Fighting Physique with Gary
Not only did I built my strongest body ever with juggernaut Personal Trainers but I learnt Self Defense skills to ensure I feel safer, more confident & do not become a victim of Melbourne violence!
I started my journey with juggernautPT at the beginning of this year. After going through a rough "08" losing my sister to cancer, then losing my sister to cancer and then after 8 years with the same company losing my job. I decided enough was enough! Life is too short to be angry and there is more to life than sitting behind a desk and pushing a mouse around. Having an interest and growing up in a martial arts background (I love MMA/UFC) I decided to try Commando Krav Maga 1-on-1 private lessons with Gary and I never looked back.
Although I wanted more and having a great interest in UFC fighters and the punishment they go through to condition themselves, I wanted that too!
Gary had no problem 'punishing' me with intense and explosive workouts, 9 months later I feel like and look like a new person, I feel alive! When I first started I thought I was pretty fit, but how wrong I was. Now I have no problem in whatever Gary throws at me, it also gets my mind off things and I can take my frustration out on the bags, weights or even Gary lol. I'm glad I made that phone call to Gary at the start of the year as he has helped me immensely in changing my life around and opening my eyes and also being a great friend.
I'm even studying now to become a Personal Trainer and look forward to continuing training with Gary and hopefully even work with him.

Personal Training, gave me a new body I love
Totally Hardcore! I thought I was fit until I had a Personal Training Session at Melbourne's Eureka Tower Gym with juggernautPT. They have completely transformed my routine, helped me to increase my overall fitness level tone my legs, bum, thighs & stomach giving me a new body which I just love. I'll keep coming back for more!

Shed 14kilos, set new goals
When I decided to make contact with the Personal Trainers at Melbourne City's juggernaut Personal Trainers my weight had drifted out to an all time high and whilst I was getting to the gym it did not seem to be doing a lot of good.
I signed on form my first session with Gary in May. It is a perverse thing that you can think of some one as such a nice guy when most of the time you are with them you are busting your arse.
My primary goal in doing the Personal Training sessions shifted from weight loss to trying to continue the improvement in my fitness. To be honest I can not believe the extent to which my fitness has improved and the amount of work that I am now enjoying doing. I had thought that at 47 this kind of work was beyond me.
When my steady weight loss stalled Gary introduced Cara (juggernautPT Dietitian) who helped with a bunch of thoughts on diet that were new and challenging and a bunch of stuff I knew but needed further encouragement to implement, Cara's empathy is compelling and there was no expectation of existence as a monk so I was back on track with continued weight loss, I have shed 14 kilo's and new goals have been set, again at levels I previously thought beyond me.
Gary seems to have a real "sense" with his training. The variety and motivation are fantastic. He balances getting you to work with having "fun" and there is a huge sense of achievement from his sessions.
I feel I am on track to realize some of the fantasies that I have held for the last decade or more of getting back in shape. You never know I may eventually conquer the "grunt"!

Mark Hopkinson Update
This years Melbourne half marathon was my third consecutive run over the distance at this time of year. It was my first with the support of the juggernautPT team.
* juggernautPT Note - Surprising as it may be we do not actually know Serena Williams personally, Mark is referring to his favourite audio workout he uses at times on his runs which if you are interested in purchasing we will happily arrange for you.
When we do get to meet Serena in person we will be sure to let you know :)

Kokoda Project:
Gary Wagner from Melbourne's juggernaut Personal Trainers has been instrumental in the production of our documentary Kokoda: women on the march. Gary is the official assessor in relation to the thousands of women who applied to be one of the ten women chosen.
He organised our first official assessment in Melbourne which was covered by Channel7 news and has obtained extensive media coverage for the project.
His motivational capacity as well as business acumen have meshed well, as he is able to multi task a huge project like this as a Co-Producer and also run his business and build a great team of support personnel.
During his many assessments of various women over a period of months the feedback by the women about Gary was first rate. His manner and persistence as well as dedication to his clients as individuals was appreciated by women who normally shy away from the intense environment of bootcamp type sessions and often general exercise.
Some personal trainers stand out from the crowd and Gary Wagner is one of those people. It is not just a job to Gary he has a philosophy about his work and life that he brings to his job that reaches out to people and makes him accessible to you that makes a significant difference to us mere mortals who do not have the capacity to climb that mountain without help.
