I’ve always had a stocky build and over the years had pursued many different sports and activities to improve my fitness such as tennis, swimming, gym based training etc. Whilst I always started off well I was never able to push myself to reach new levels of fitness, primarily due to pushing myself too hard in the early stages of training.
Having moved from Sydney in 2007 for lifestyle and work reasons I was looking to get involved in some kind of fitness activity again. Whilst I Initially succeeded the same patterns of lack of motivation crept in. I decided to Join the Original BootCamp in Melbourne run by juggernautPT and was happily surprised at how quickly my fitness came back to me. Cursing at Gary at least two times a week became one of my favourite past times but I felt that my work ethic was improving greatly. After a few months I elected to look at changing my training to introduce personal training at their Chapel St Gym.
My Personal Trainer, Nathan always makes sure that sessions are varied and interesting. He also doesn’t take no for an answer (reasonably) which has helped me to push through many of my fitness goals in the past 9 months. Whilst the sessions are always challenging they are never boring and there is always an explained purpose to why its necessary to do certain Tasks. From training with him at Chapel Fitness I’ve found myself much more engaged in not only lifting bigger weights etc, but understanding the body function and philosophy behind what we are doing. Whist it can be difficult to see in the first few months, 9 months on I can see and feel the changes that are happening, both physically and mentally.
I would highly recommend anyone in Melbourne who is looking to gain significant muscle mass and improve their general fitness to consider juggernautPT.
